Let us evaluate the outcome of Progressives handling of law and order

Since progressive leftists are making sweeping changes in law and order throughout major cities in the US, we are starting to see the outcomes. Also, their irresponsible rhetoric is creating violence against cops. You know, that reality thing. Facts and stuff. Here are some stories showing the increase in violence and assaults against police.

Way to go, mayor de Blasio

NYC murders up 60% for week to date over same span last year

Shootings and murders increased again this week as summer draws closer, causing New Yorkers to fear the worst for the warmer weather to come.

Murders were up 60% from last year for the week to date, as eight people were killed between Friday and Sunday, compared to five people killed during the same period in 2014, according to recently released NYPD statistics.

Twenty-five shooting incidents involved 31 victims in the week that ended Sunday, versus 22 shootings involving 27 victims in the same week last year, statistics show.

The shooting didn’t stop on Monday night after a 9-year-old boy and another man were both injured by gun fire in the 2900 block of Arunah Avenue. Police say the child was shot in the leg and another man suffered a graze wound to the head.

From one district to the next leaving 26 people shot and 9 dead. Councilmember Mary Pat Clarke links the violence to a city still reeling from weeks of unrest.

“It was an earthquake kind of time and i think we’re still dealing with the aftershock,” she says.

Those nine dead brought Baltimore’s violent crime death toll to 35 just for the month of May, one of the bloodiest months in modern history. And it’s not as if they’re filling up the jails. In fact, for the latest round of bloodshed there isn’t even a single suspect under arrest.

What The Most Violent Memorial Day Weekend In Over A Decade Means For Chicago

It’s easy to look at this past weekend in Chicago — in which 12 people were killed and at least 43 were wounded in shootings — and to write it off as just another average, violent weekend.

While it may have felt like a typical, violent weekend in Chicago for you, the numbers might prove otherwise. If anything, it’s not typical, it’s an outlier. It was the most violent Memorial Day weekend in over a decade. While 2012 also saw 12 homicides, it had fewer shootings. But, few other Memorial Day weekends come close to 2014’s and 2012’s numbers. 2011 only saw four homicides, which was lower than average. 2013 and 2014 saw six and seven homicides respectively, which falls squarely in the average range for Memorial Day weekend.
