I understand that charging A/C systems under low-load conditions will underestimate the system pressure under high load conditions: "Higher indoor temp = higher pressure."
So it is probably best to come back to do a final charge on a high load day, no?
I also wonder about safely charging on these low-load days. On a TXV R410-A system, I measured a suction line is 108 psi and liquid line is 236 psi. The design/test pressure on the nameplate is 250 low and 450 high. This leads me to believe that the system is operating under low pressures and there is no real safety risk.
