I am using my warehouse full of used parts. I was wondering the best way to drill the crankcase of two identical Copeland 16k compressors to install an oil balancing line?
No metal shavings in the crankcase. I assume flare fittings would be ideal with a 3/8 or 1/4 copper line to keep oil levels equal. I am building a two stage heat pump out of a vsx 13 seer condenser that was originally 5 tons. Making a 3 ton. Using outdoor txv, indoor txv, 2 speed condenser fan etc. This is my home shop project.
