need help enrolling wireless devices dsc pc1832 w/rfk5501

When entering programming section 898 red alarm light jumps to green and right back to red as if it will not go into that section. I have zones 1-8 attributes set to wired (no 8) and 102 - 104 zones 9-32 set to wireless wit an 8. My panel is ver 4.60 and remote is rfk
Why will it not accept the 898?
