Well pump short cycling

I have a shallow (60') water well with a 1/2 HP Goulds pump motor that is short cycling. Instead of coming on and running for 30 secs to a minute, it runs a few secs then stops, then it will kick on & run again for a few seconds and stop. I put a new 30 - 50 PSI pressure switch in it about a year ago. Any ideas? Thanks TexasFire
