I've been going to school for HVAC for 8 months now and I just started a job as an apprentice last week. The guys I'm working with don't expect all that much of me yet but I really want to set my own goals and standards here so I can be an asset to my company even sooner and hopefully make a lasting impression.
With all that said, what kinds of skills do you guys think I should be proficient at by the end of my first year, or sooner? By proficient I mean capable of performing well enough on my own without need for calling a supervisor or being double checked.
Also, if you have any other tips on how to impress your co-workers and avoid getting fired, I'm all ears
