Up front I am the IT for a small school division and am trying to assist your plumber who runs our iNet 7 system.
I have a Xenta 527 that just shuts down the network interface. By that I mean is is working great then all of a sudden the lights go out. So far I have switched port, switched the switch, our contractor has replaced the Xenta. But still to get the unit communicating again I have to reseat the network cable or power cycle either the switch or Xenta.
The switch has broadcast storm configured to 5% and IP precedence set to 7 however I dont believe it to be a network issue.
Is there a log on the Xenta 527 I can see that will tell me why the device is shutting down the network interface?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
