Rheem RCH3617 - dripping condensation

Replaced coil last week , refrigerant leak. Put in this aluminum RCH3617. Customer say it is leaking water. Vertical installation. I noticed metal plate on right side of coil, I left it on the coil. Suppose to take off ?
